California ↔ Tanzania
One shot.
A bigger future.
Basketball opens the court. Education opens the world.
01 / Why we exist
Born on a dirt court.
Built for bigger dreams.
Potential does not begin with access. It is already there—before the court, before the classroom, before the chance.
Jambo Shot Foundation connects basketball, education, and personal growth to create more room for young people in rural Tanzania to choose what comes next.

02 / What we build
More than a game.
One connected path from
play to possibility.
01
The Court
Basketball creates a place to belong, build confidence, and discover what consistent effort can unlock.
02
The Classroom
Learning resources and educational opportunities help possibility travel far beyond the final whistle.
03
The Future
Mentorship and personal growth turn potential into direction—and direction into choices.
03 / What we believe
A child’s circumstances should never define the size of a dream.
Dreaming
is a right.
Opportunity is what turns that right into something reachable.
04 / One shared direction
From California to Tanzania, we work toward the same horizon.
Local roots.
Open futures.
We believe lasting change starts by listening, building with local communities, and respecting the strengths already present. Basketball is the invitation. Education and human connection carry the journey forward.
